Join hundreds of churches taking part in Act for Peace's Refugee Week activities, 18-24 June 2017
By coming together as a congregation during Refugee Week you’ll be joining hundreds of Australian churches, in supporting communities around the world through raising awareness, praying and taking action for those most in need.
Showing refugees we’re with them, not against them
Right now, conflict and disaster in Syria, East Africa and other places mean the world is facing the largest humanitarian crisis since World War II. There’s never been a more important time for Christians to take action. During Refugee Week join hundreds of other churches around Australia and make a real difference to the world’s most vulnerable people through action and prayer.

It’s easy to take part in Refugee Week in your church. Help your congregation learn, pray and act during Refugee Week by signing up today to receive your Refugee Week Church Pack. It contains easy to use sermon starters, bible studies, prayer points and inspiring stories of how your church and others around Australia are making an incredible impact on the lives of refugees around the world.
If you would like to run an event during Refugee Week we will also include, along with your church pack, a guide to holding a refugee meal. Holding a refugee meal in your church, bible study or home, is a great way to raise awareness of one aspect of the refugee experience – living off food ration – and is also a great way to fundraise to support refugees around the world.
