“We now have much better crops and excess produce to sell and help us look after our families.” - Shami, Zimbabwe.
$30 is a farmer's starter pack.
Give the gift of a starter pack containing crop seeds to a farmer in Zimbabwe to help them become self-sufficient and support their family.
ORDER YOUR GIFT
Many people in Zimbabwe don’t have enough water to grow their crops. To make things worse, failing rains mean that rural farming communities are unable to produce enough food. Many families now have to depend on unreliable supplies of food aid, and face the prospect of severe food shortages.
Your gift of $30 will provide farmers with a starter pack of drought-resistant seeds. At the same time, our partners will train farmers in new ways of keeping their soil moist and protecting it from erosion. Farmers will learn how to manage their crops and land effectively, even when rainfall is scarce. This means they will be able to grow more food for their families, without having to rely on handouts.
