Where your money goes
In the past financial year, Act for Peace’s expenditure was as follows:
Programs and advocacy work
These funds go to supporting our international and domestic programs that benefit communities threatened by conflict and natural disaster.
- 47.7% International programs
- 10.8% Program support costs
- 9.7% Community education
- 1.9% Domestic programs
Fundraising is important so that we can generate the donations that drive our vital work around the world. It also includes the cost of gaining long term supporters.
Administration and accountability
This is essential to the day to day running of the organisation, and includes our supporter relations, finance, administration, HR and management teams.
For more detailed information on expenditure, please see the financial reporting in our Annual Report.
More ways to take action
Bloody conflicts across Africa have forced millions of women and children from their homes. Help them get the medical care and support they need to survive.
Cyclone Gita has devastated Tongan communities, destroying everything in its path. Please help provide the emergency shelter, food and clean water they desperately need.
Take the Act for Peace Ration Challenge during Refugee Week (June 2018) to raise money in support of refugees who have lost everything, and challenge perspectives – including your own.
