Today, the plight of Syrian refugees no longer makes news headlines.
In 10 years of civil war, hundreds of thousands have lost their lives and more than 12 million people have been forced from their homes.
Many families are now living as refugees in Jordan. They’re struggling without many basics of survival – enough food, safe shelter, access to healthcare.
Yet these people’s lives are not getting any easier. In fact, the COVID-19 crisis has made their desperate situations even harder. But together, we can show them they’re not forgotten.
The Syrian conflict, now in its 10th year, is one of the worst humanitarian crises of our time. And it’s civilians just like Lilia¹ and her young family who are suffering the most.
¹Lilia’s name has been changed to protect her identity as a refugee.
