Act for Peace empowers communities in conflict-affected areas by working with long-term project partners. We help our partners empower communities to reduce poverty, protect refugees and displaced people and prevent further conflict. We are currently assisting more than 500,000 refugees and more than 1 million people living in extreme poverty.
By donating to Act for Peace, you will help our partners work for real and lasting peace in some of the most brutal and prolonged conflicts which continue to deprive people of their basic human rights.

The Christmas Bowl provides crucial assistance to our partners in conflict areas around the world. Gifts from supporters and from church congregations help to empower communities to reduce poverty, prevent conflicts and protect refugees across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, the Pacific and in Australia. Beginning in 1949, the Christmas Bowl was developed to help feed refugees displaced by WWII and continues to serve people affected by conflict and poverty today.
Act for Peace's new Gift Catalogue, Gifts for Peace, is a way of giving something meaningful that supports peace initiatives around the world.
Act for Peace Partners support people living in extreme poverty in conflict-affected regions around the world with their kind gifts each month.
Act for Peace is able to respond to major humanitarian emergencies all over the world in almost any region. We achieve this through our Action by Churches Together (ACT) alliance, which is at work in over 150 countries in the event of any natural or conflict related disasters.
