Gift In Will

Leave a gift in your will and make a lasting difference...

By remembering the Christmas Bowl with a gift in your Will, you are making a unique commitment to projects with partners that make a real difference to people’s lives worldwide. Your legacy to the Christmas Bowl, Act for Peace’s longest running-appeal, will help us to continue to provide aid and support to help people affected by poverty and conflict where it is needed most.

The Christmas Bowl is a program of Act for Peace the international aid agency of the National Council of Churches in Australia (NCCA). Our supporters’ generosity enables us to respond immediately and effectively to people in need. Without you our work would simply not be possible. Whatever the amount, your contribution is invaluable.

If you have already made a Will

If you have already made a Will, but would like to include a gift to the Christmas Bowl, you can do so by making a simple addition to your existing Will. This is called a ‘Codicil’ and your solicitor can help you.

If you have not already made a Will

If you do not have a Will at the moment, we strongly advise you to see a solicitor. Although you will have to pay a fee, you will receive professional advice and can be sure that your wishes are achieved.

There are several ways to leave a gift in your Will:

Residual of your estate - you can choose to leave the remainder of your estate, once you have provided for your loved ones.
Percentage of your estate - you can choose to leave a share of your estate.
Specified gift - you can choose to give a gift of a specific amount of money.
Specified property or possessions – you can choose to give real estate or other assets of value.

"It is comforting to know that by leaving a gift in our Will to Christmas Bowl, we will continue to help long after our lifetime."
