Each year Brisbane Grammar School performs a Service of Nine Lessons and Carols in the tradition of King’s College Cambridge, and traditionally any donations received at this event go to the Christmas Bowl Appeal.
The Lessons and Carols portrays the Christmas story told through a service of nine lessons and carols, presented by the three elite choral groups of the school. Highlights will include a combined choirs presentation of the 3rd Movement from Z Randall Stroope’s “Hodie! (This Day)” accompanied by BGS musicians.
There will also be an array of choral offerings presented by the Grammar Singers, Grammarphones and Chamber Choir as well as the communal singing of traditional carols.

Take the Act for Peace Ration Challenge and eat the same rations as a Syrian refugee during Refugee Week (19-26 June 2016). Raise money to support refugees who have lost everything, and challenge perspectives – including your own.
Right now, thousands of innocent people are fleeing Syria every day to protect their families from bloodshed, violence and death. We need your support to provide emergency relief packs to the families fleeing in Syria.
