National Council of Churches in Australia
Act for Peace is the international aid agency of the National Council of Churches in Australia, an ecumenical council of 19 member churches. Act for Peace supports the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ecumenical Commission (NATSIEC) in its work alongisde Indigenous communities, churches and other organisations around Australia.

Act for Peace is an active supporter of several coalition campaigns, with which we work to advocate for peace and justice.
Micah Challenge is a global campaign of Christians speaking out against poverty and injustice.
Jubilee Australia challenges the root causes of long term poverty to work for economic justice.
Make Poverty History is a coalition of more than 60 aid organisations, community and faith-based groups. 
The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons aims to galvanise public and government support for multilateral negotiations on a Nuclear Weapons Convention.
The Global Poverty Project is an educational and campaigning organisation that activates citizens to be a part of the global movement to end extreme poverty.

Universal Village is a small business working to promote and distribute fairly traded products throughout Australia and beyond. For every pack of its Rhino Coffee sold, Universal Village contributes 40c to the work of the Mines Advisory Group (MAG) in Laos.

Act for Peace is a member of the global ACT Alliance, a network of 111 churches and church-related agencies that work together in humanitarian assistance and development.
The World Council of Churches (WCC) is a fellowship of 349 churches from around the world and from a broad range of Christian traditions, which promotes Christian unity in faith, witness and service for a just and peaceful world.
