In camps along the Thailand–Myanmar border for refugees displaced by the decades-long conflict in Myanmar, almost half of the youngest children are malnourished. Act for Peace is supporting refugees to tackle malnutrition through innovative programs like a nursery school feeding program and community agriculture and nutrition.

Syria violence: helping young women who have fled
Thousands of young Syrian mothers have fled the conflict in Syria either pregnant or with newborns with little, if any, money or personal belongings. Most of the women also have other young children and almost all of them left without their husbands. With the help of your kind gifts, our partners are distributing special personal care kits filled with important basics which are often forgotten and difficult to ask for in a society where a woman’s needs are not discussed.
