This is what campaigners had front of mind when delivering a petition to government this week calling for a strong and effective Arms Trade Treaty. A coalition of Australian NGOs, including Act for Peace, handed over 31,000 signatures urging the Australian delegation heading to negotiations at the United Nations in New York to bring back a bulletproof treaty.
